MyEG PH and AllBank's Strategic Partnership to Change Government transactions and payments in the Philippines
ALLBANK (A Thrift Bank) Inc. and MyEG Philippines Inc. (MyEG PH) officially launched their partnership for the use of the quick response (QR) payment system for government transactions.
This partnership aligns with the mutual goal to simplify government-related transactions and payments for Filipinos.
AllBank President and Executive Director Jesus Vicente Garcia and MYEG CEO Ann Saldaña sealed the partnership with the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MoA) at the AllBank head office in Mandaluyong City on June 19, 2024.
Saldaña expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership.
“This is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the lives of Filipinos by providing an easy, efficient and secure way to do government transactions. Our collaboration with AllBank will leverage our combined strengths to create a more inclusive financial ecosystem, facilitating smoother transactions for everyone,” she said. Meanwhile, Garcia said he sees the partnership to make government transactions more accessible.
“This partnership helps to empower the citizens by enabling seamless and more convenient government transactions. Integrating QrPH technology will make government transactions more accessible to a broader population,” he said.
